The show was awesome. The venue was very cool... at Karen's. It was called Apple and Tarte Antiques. You will definitely want to ogle these photos, it was gorgeous. I had so much fun today with my friends, I haven't had a "girlfriend" day in a long time! We went to Cindy's then to Monticello in Portland where we had a quick bite. After that we were off to Joanne to try and find more "glitter letters" (stay tuned for my "Halohill" banner, it's in the works). The only letters left were ones like z,q,x,w. Bummer. Oh well, we found OTHER things, so onward and upward. Wait until you see what Diane is going to make with yards and yards of awesome burlap! Joy got some very large letters which will soon be appearing at her next show with Diane coming up in March. I digress... back to today. After we laughed and looked and waxed creative through the aisles of the store, we were off to Value Village. When thrifting, we 3 have a "scanning" eye, and without a word (well I think I did yell "every man for himself"), we each grabbed baskets and were off in different directions. We found a few prizes and we were off to Starbucks and then headed home. I'll share more pics of Cindy's tomorrow. Happy Weekend to you.
