A Portrait of Me with the Artist Himself!

When I arrived home from work Friday, my grandson was waiting for me with a big surprise! He was so proud when he unveiled it! I think it is a very good likeness, of me, don't you? Much too sweet of a lady to go dumpster diving!

Seriously, Joy and I went to an "outlet" store last week, it just happened to be a "thrifty" sort. I wouldn't call it dumpster diving. My family always called me "Miss Prim" and everyone knows I can't stand to get dirty or germy! Ugh. I believe the correct term is "bin." And, I don't dive, I just leaned over a lot. Joy finds the greatest treasures! She let me buy one of the lovely jewelry boxes she found, and some tablecloths too! I bought a bunch of children's books and a red cowboy hat too. I would post them here, but they need to be "sanitized" first. What do I mean by that? Oh, nothing. Just a little thing I do when I go "outlet" shopping at certain stores where the items may be gently used.

I wish we had seen Brock.
