Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you have a wonderful, bountiful, happy and laughter filled Holiday!  I have so many things to be thankful for, I don't want to give you a detailed list because I'm sure you'd fall asleep reading it.

It's been a very hard year too, and hard for many of my friends and loved ones, so I don't want to give you the idea that everything is always hunky dorey here on the Hill.  But, the thing is I am so very blessed in so many other ways that it makes the hard stuff pale in comparison.  That's what it's all about, right?  Wading through the tough stuff and focusing on the blessings.

Oh yes, and now that I've said "hunky dorey" you now know exactly how old I am too!

  2. Hi, Sheila -
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! It has been a very hard year here at our house, too, but we have so much to be thankful for. And we are! One of the things I'm thankful for is that I met you this year - it was a highlight of my day at Deepwood. Can't wait till we can get together and chat again. Have a great weekend.

  3. Hi Sheila! Happy Thanksgiving to you! Your intuition was RIGHT! Everything was benign! I swear, when they told me they saw something and would have to do a biopsy, I just thought "what ever." It seems like after the year we're BOTH having, I couldn't even summon up the energy to panic! Assisted living here we come! You're right, we would have a good time! So great to be able to visit with you again.

  4. Shelia~ I'm strolling in to catch up and especially to wish you and your loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving!
It's such a wonderful time to stop and reflect on all those we cherish and are truly grateful for.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to visit and leave feeling inspired!

Even though our Thanksgiving is very small in number, with hubby and son (we don't count the cat cause she doesn't like turkey). We don't scrimp on the menu...from appetizers to desserts with several carb loaded dishes in between! We will be enjoying tryptophan playoffs too!

    Sweet Holiday wishes,
    Sara
