Beloved Mother, Grammy, Sister, Auntie and Friend

Shirley Esther Kuney-Doohan

October 3, 1935 - August 30, 2010

My sweet Mom passed away early this morning after a long illness.

"In my Father's House there are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself, that where I am, there ye may be also."
John 14:2-3

  1. Dear Sheila -
I drove through your town on my way home from my daughter's home in the community just east of yours and as I drove you were on my mind. Suddenly I felt I should pray for you and I wished I could see you and hug you - now I know why! You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you walk this difficult path ahead of you. I have been there with my father and I know it's not easy. I'm so thankful you had the last months with her.
    Hugs and prayers,
    ~Adrienne~

  3. Oh Sheila,
This picture is a keeper! Shirley must have had help dressing from "our Granny" and her trunk of treasures. It was such fun getting all dolled up to go into town! Thanks for the memories!
Your Mom will be remembered as one of the sweetest, giving Sisters a family could ever have.
    Very much love,
    Aunt Maribel
