Tagged By Pattie...

My friend Patti of "Artfully Yours" has tagged me! Here are the instructions:
Step one is to take the first book you lay eyes on that fits the rules. Not your favorite book, but the closest at hand:
The rules are as follows…
1. The book must be over 123 pages.
2. Find page 123 in the book.
3. Find the first 5 sentences.
4. Post the next 3 sentences.
5. Tag 3 other people

Okay, the first 3 books closest to me all had photos on page 123! (Does that say something about my IQ)? The next book I found was "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron, and on page 123, the
next 3 sentences after the first 5 sentences are: "Selecting a challenge and meeting it creates a sense of self-empowerment that becomes the ground for further successful challenges. Viewed this way, running a marathon increases your chances of writing a full-length play. Writing a full-length play gives you a leg up on a marathon." While I am here, I must break the rules and tell you the NEXT sentence as well, because it's great: "Complete the following sentence. "If I didn't have to do it perfectly, I would try..."
I tag:
Tina
Joy
Nina
As always, if I tag you, you don't have to play if you'd rather not.

  2. o.k. closest book to me now while at my computer is ..... wow! Kind of freaky actually. O.k. so the closest thing is "10 Stupid Things Women Do To Mess Up Their Lives" by Dr. Laura Schlessinger, I think my mom actually gave me this book. Nice mom!!! O.k. here are the 3 sentences. It's a dialogue, 1st person says ...
" ummm...I have done nothing in my life which affirms my worth to myself, I guess".
2nd person, Dr. Laura, "So what are you going to put in your life that will affirm your worth? Notice I didn't say "who"."
1st person again, " I am a good mom, I have a boy, five and a half months old, and I put a lot of time and effort into reading everything and trying to the be the perfect mom.."

And to finish your sentence..... If I didn't have to do it perfectly I would.....
I'll have to think about it and get back to you. That's too complicated for now. hmmm..

Sheila, I love what you soldered! I absolutely LOVE IT ALL!!! I totally want to learn how to do that, or at least watch you do it, it's AMAZING!!
