Our niece Gloria has been here for a week visiting from Colorado. She loves it here, and doesn't want to go home tomorrow! Oh well, she'll be back. She got to see the ocean for the first time, took her first plane ride, and had an art day with me at Joy's. We made the lovely crowns you see here!
And last, but certainly not least, she helped me clear out my large stuffed (floor to ceiling stuffed) work shop. Ahhh, what a feeling! Joy took a lot of things off my hands, and my cute DIL Tannia and my Grandson Brock came and helped too! We loaded her truck as tightly as we could with cast-offs (oops, I meant treasures) and back they went, over the mountain.
My DH took a load to the dump, Gloria and I took a load to Goodwill. Done! The only thing left to do is my favorite part... decorating! (Oh and some organizing too). I feel more free now having that ton of stuff gone! When I'm finished (or mostly finished) I'll show the pics!
Oh, and Gloria's favorite thing is Halloween, so she was here to dress up and pass out candy for us! What a cute witch she was!
Tomorrow, it's back to Denver for Gloria, and back to work for me. Whew!
