A Charming Christmas

Yes, I am still making charms for Christmas! My cut off for orders to be made in time was last week, but I'm still working on the others. I finished these yesterday. If you have ordered from me, they might just be in this photo, so don't let your loved one see this post yet. Fun. I am not very good at saying no, so it was really hard for me to turn down Christmas orders, but sheesh I had to! A girl must have her limits, right? (There has to be a 12-step program for people like me)! Anyway, I must have passed step #1, because I did actually have to say no a few times. Isn't the little house cute? It was just plain white when I got it with holes for the windows and doors, no window coverings, just a lightbulb inside. I am still working on this pink one, (when the light is off, you can see the pink vellum in the windows and door... really!) and it's getting cuter. I am doing one in green to match my sofa too (Spring green, of course, not Christmas green). Click on photo to enlarge.

I was SO SO sad when I had to miss my class with Sally Jean a few Saturdays ago. We were supposed to make and solder tree-top Christmas angels. Oh, how sad I was when I got sick and couldn't make it! Sally Jean is the BEST and she is the most fun sort of teacher one could ever have. I love her and husband Brad too. I can't wait to get into another of her classes.

So now... yep our Christmas tree top is empty. I gave all of the things I no longer needed to charity. I guess I'll have to make one. It won't be anything great like I would have made with the amazing Miss Sally though. I have some cute vintage wallpaper in my colors, so we'll see how that works out when I am finally finished soldering my charms.
