I hope you had a happy 4th!

It was a very nice day here. I went to "sell my wares" at "Old Stuff on Main Street" a large antique show that my friend Joy puts on every year. They close down Main Street (of course) and antique vendors all come and set up shop (or awnings and tents) for the day and it has gained in popularity every year. Joy of "Aunties" let me share her booth with her, so that I could display my necklaces (charms) and it was awesome! She had a mannequin dressed in a beautiful vintage prom dress wearing pearls, and I put necklaces there and on two other mannequins, and had an display tree and a few other things as well. It was a lot of fun and I sold very well! Hurray! Thank you Joy! That is Joy in the top photo, and yes she IS always that cheerful!

It was also wonderful because I got to meet some of my fellow bloggers! Sometimes we know each other by our blog names only, and it was funny... "oh, YOU'RE Halo Hill! Hi, Lindsey, so you're
the Farrier's Daughter!, Hurray, YOU'RE Pam from My Grandkids Rock! Oh, HI, Charming Designs, so happy to know you Branderella, why The Hearts of Hartmann, I didn't know you were "Branderella's" Mom"! What a blast that was! Now we'll all be friends forever!

LORENA! I haven't seen you in so long, it was wonderful to see you, and I didn't know you had a blog"! Lisa and Isabel were there too, to help Joy set up, and it was so it was nice to see them, as I've seen them only once since Christmas! Joy's friend Martha was there too, and our friend Diane (who doesn't have a blog but soon will) was there of course, we're all doing her show next Month in Sublimity at Molly Mo's!

AND Isabel got the TOTAL score of the day! One of the old old ledger/journals that we ALL covet!!! And for $8! I was green with envy!

Lots of friends stopped to say hey and support me in my "art" show, thank you sooo much Jerry & Kerry, Marne and family, Greg and Kristin, Ofelia and all of my other friends who I saw there! Mwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh to all of you!

What? Um, a... fireworks? How was it since we live across from the High School where they do the fireworks display, you ask? Well, I hear it was nice, I had to give up early and go to bed. Long but wonderful day!

  6. thank you so much for your nice comment about the "Home" piece i made for the Hannah Grey Design Team.
It gave me the occasion to discover your blog. I think I would have spent a lot of money if I had been around your stand on 4th of July!
