Punk Rose Journal

Hello! I haven't had a chance to share these pics with you yet, as you may know I was in California when I received the most beautiful package from this Blog Giveaway from Punk Rose Journal!

Doesn't she do the most magnificent work? I know. And if you know me, you know how excited I am to receive these treasures, as they are "right up my alley"! I felt like I won the lotto when I received this package!
The canvas above is laden with the bost beautiful vintage items, a key, glitter, bits of art work Sherri did herself, and ALL in the colors of my studio! (You know, the one I haven't finished yet).
The pillow above is to die for, just look at it! Those really are vintage journal paper and french flash cards attached to the pillow! Have you ever????? Me either, she is so talented!
Look at this little pillow!! I KNOW, it is absolutely gorgeous. You know, with this Aqua color, and the brown, maybe I should put some of these beautiful things in my bedroom.
Look at these hand made flash cards above! Each one is trimmed on all edges with glitter!
This decorative item above is sooooooooo pretty! It is rectangular block shaped, and has a vintage watch on it as well! Silver glass glitter has been carefully appled to each end!

This beautiful piece above is the -card- that came with the goodies! It's a goody all on it's own and I am going to frame it. (Notice the ballet dancers... love those too)... I have a Degas ballet print hanging in my bathroom, and 2 beauties in my bedroom! How did she know?

Look at this gorgeous jar! It has the softest thread/ribbon trim you've ever felt, and the cork top has a silver glittered star on top too. You will notice the pretty doily to the right of the candy jar, the doily was also in the top pic with all of the other goodies! Do you know why THAT is so special? Well because of the beautiful vintage drapes Joy made for my studio! She made them out of vintage tablecloths, and other vintage linens all sewn together. I am going to sew this doily onto them, since it is so special and is also a gift.

I feel badly that I haven't posted about my beautiful prizes sooner!! They have been on display since I received them, so I can see them all together between my livingroom and kitchen. My grandson (you know, the cutie you see all over my blog) came the day after I got home from California, I finally took pictures the other day after my grandson left! Don't try and tell me that a 6 year old isn't a handful! (The most precious handful though, I have to add)!

Thank you again, Sherri from the bottom of my heart. You are not only very talented, but also very generous! Thank you for brightening my days with your beautiful gifts! They will be moved from my big display to various points throughout my home, and I'll think of you each time I see them! I hope you'll visit Sherri's blog: Punk Rose Journal, it is very pretty!

Many Blessings!

  6. Wow! Everything that she sent you is indeed so "you"! Beautiful goodies. I'm sitting at the computer trying not to get cat hairs all over my black slacks! I hate dressing up! I say the whole world should wear denim! Cheers to you and your latest gorgeous goodies.
